If you know me, you know that I am someone who likes simplicity and minimalism. I love meeting people, having nice open-minded conversations and to be in nature. Of course, I also love once in while to relax in a nice pool!
What made those Airbnbs be my favorite ones? They have at least one of the criteria below:
- be in a natural environment
- have wonderful hosts, with whom I can have great conversations
- unique accommodation
- places with a great energy
- have amazing amenities, such as a pool and a gym
- a balcony
For me those are the most important thing when I am traveling.
Favorite Airbnbs in Asia
Roland’s House on Koh Chang Island in Thailand is truly in a beautiful location. Perfect for a small family like us who likes to be surrounded by nature. There is a kitchen, where my partner cooked amazing meals for us!
If you like simplicity and want to be in a natural environment this is the place for you!
Wayne’s private room in this luxury condo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was everything we needed in Kuala Lumpur.
We had great conversations with her and her partner. She is very hospitable. She has such a cute dog, which our daughter loved to play with. She is right in the center of Kuala Lumpur with amazing views, a gym and a pool. We couldn’t have wished for a better place for our time in Asia.
Kanchanaburi is definitely one of our favorite place in Thailand and this Airbnb was a top choice! Close to the main road where the restaurants are but still totally in harmony with nature and the possibility to hear the birds sing all day long.
This is a small hut with nothing fancy but for us the most important was this green lush right from our balcony.
The first place of our 3 month trip in Asia was in Bangkok and although this studio is not in the center, it was perfect for us as it’s in a cultural district where we could stroll to enjoy first-hand the Thai temples.
The studio was in a luxury condo where there was everything we needed to relax after our long flight.
Favorite Airbnbs in Europe
If you are looking for a peaceful place with a wonderful energy, this private room in Malta is just the place for you. I loved the energy there and the balcony with the sea view!
Are you looking to know more about Middle Age in the French countryside? This place is just perfect for it, this private apartment in a B&B near the Abbaye with a little balcony was perfect to be in rural France.
This private room is another great place to be in the French countryside, but still close to Paris and to be received by a great host with whom I had lovely conversations in the morning! It’s very close to Barbizon and Fontainebleau forest, which are places that I would recommend everyone to visit to know the little French villages!
A little gem of green in the center of Paris! For someone who doesn’t like big cities but still want to visit Paris once in one’s life, this is the place to be!
